"God, you don't know how glad I am that you found me." Jeremy's smile was genuine. He and Anna were back at his room. It had been a whirlwind of catching up to do. He couldn't imagine life without her. She was so good to him. "Stay with me."

Anna, sighed. "I shouldn't." There was her mother to think about.

"But you will." He couldn't help but looking into her deep dark eyes and want to escape in her world.

"You need your rest." It had been such a long ordeal. He couldn't imagine the time he'd spent with Tyler. Possibly, he couldn't imagine any of it now. It was like a faded memory.

"Yeah, definitely." Jeremy sighed as if he would sleep. Only if she were there. Just the two of them. Who in the hell cared what was going on with Damien or any of them. She was all that mattered. "I love you." He was certain. He was ready to drink her blood. It was time.

"I want you to get some sleep." Anna kissed him. As if that was the fair thing to do. "You'll need to be rested. For the transition. That's all."

"Oh." He hadn't thought of that. All he wanted were her arms around him. Just to be in a deep sleep with her. Waiting for him. Waiting on the other side he guessed.
